Rare Royal Albert English Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer in 'Fringed Gentian' in Pale Blue, Malvern S

This is a hard to find tea cup & saucer by Royal Albert, fine English bone china. The pattern is 'Fringed Gentian' in the rare pale blue variation and the shape is 'Malvern'. The piece dates from the 1940's. Each piece is made of pale blue bone china with gilded accents at the edges and handle. The pieces are decorated with the patterns namesake flowers in a woodland glade. The pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no visible wear or flaws. The cup measures 3.25" tall, 4.4" wide, 3.5" across at the lip, and 1.9" across at the base. The saucer measures 5.5" wide.
